According to IBF, his birthdate is August 10th, 1981. So, he just turned 24 this year. In AE'99, he was 17 going on 18.

I think Peter's time to win a major title is approaching. He's been steadily improving since his injury, getting back to the level where he was before. I see him now with some of the best results he's had since his come back. Next year will be the year!

i think he is a cool guy and the badminton world needs more players like him. i too hope he will be back but returning from a serious injury is a tricky road for a sportsman. besides the obvious physical aspect, the mental part can also be crucial. sometimes there is always a nagging doubt of whether one can actually return to his/her pre-injury shape.

especially with KJ going off the boil recently...

much as i would prefer BCL and CH to get a title sometime next year, it would be great for european badminton for PG to win the AE for example.

However, badminton has gained popularity in england/uk with good pairings in just XD, and the WD and MD have steadily improved. Maybe we don't need to do well in every discipline to keep the interest alive:)
