Apparently, not every Dane plays badminton.

Is it just me that misses this guy? I genuinely do. Sure he had a lot of injuries and played his badminton in an era (possibly the greatest era) which was vastly competitive. Truly a great player and wish he could have played at his best for another few years.

Nope, I miss him too, he was my favorite MS player. Too bad injury ended his career a little bit too early...

If it was any other player, it would be widely known and publicised about why he wasn't playing, but BCL in my book just simply....vanished from the scene. In fact, I'd completely forgotten about him until I saw a link to a feed on the right of the page I was reading.

you're surely not the only one out there. Bao played with a very attacking style in his early days but gradually and sadly declined over time because of injuries. It was upsetting to see him in some of his late matches in which he could barely move properly on court. What he has maintained over the years is his elegant techniques which one could hardly find in even the very top players now. And I think his textbook-like techniques are the best examples for us badminton enthusiasts to learn from.
