The right move for CHN would be to have XXF, ZL ad LL in the Olympics. Poor ZN seems to have lost a step. I think LL will become a better and more confident player if ZN retires. She'll be allowed (within LYB's constraints of course
) to be her own player having secured one of the OG spots.
Random thoughts: the 10 losses mentioned earlier in the thread have come against 10 different opponents. Does this mean players are able to figure out ZN better? In her stats (post #1), it mentions she is 150 lbs... 150 lbs?? You can't be serious. What an insult to her

No!!! Dont drop her... ZN is a very good n skillful player... She's just having some injuries now... Everything will be okay after she recovers... She will be at the top again, then she'll retire gracefully!!! haha

i learned of ZN in 1994 in the classic uber cup singles final battle against mia audina. She fought hard but lost in 3 sets. I think LYB saw something in her that he wanted to keep her around. I myself have said before ZN has the near perfect WS physique and a hard working attitude. I think LYB saw the long term potential in her and willing to work to improve and refine her. That's is one feature even his critic admire, LYB can pick them. He let go wang chen, pi H, and many gals before and none of them come close to ZN. He made the right choice again in 2008 OG. For ZN, what a way to wrap up her career as a player. Because her long career and vast experience, i'm sure she would have a coaching capacity in the national team.

Cooler, thanks for quoting my posts in this thread - keeps her legend live on longer!
This isn't an I told you so post....because I didn't comment previously and I know hindsight is great....but I found reading these posts funny after OG!! Sorry to embarass the members quoted. No offence
These posts serve to highlight her situation well and the fact she managed to overcome these issues (which were then and still are now quite valid) is another credit to ZN.
Like I also said in another OG thread. We will never see another ZN again.Last edited by jamesd20; 08-19-2008 at 04:10 PM.
