And he is quite a talanted player as well.. Think he even has a few gold medals from WC, OG etc. in his cabinet at home.. I also think he has something like 20-9 head-to-head against the current WR #2.. Lucky guy indeed :-)

Beside luck sometimes he received some assistance from his teammates as well.

Btw what is so great about WR1? Nowadays no one cares about ranking. Also I heard many claims that the WR2 is the real WR1 lol.

But for LD... I think retiring with an olympic gold and being ranked no.1 on BWF would be quite a sweet way to retire :-)

I think we all agree that LCW will not be sorry having lost WR1 BWF-ranking if he gets gold for MAS in August...So in that sense it is "worthless" :-)

I am not sure about who agrees and who don't. I only know If that's the case, I am sorry for LD and you.

Why would you be sorry for me? My heart is with LCW, and my brain with LD :-) . I am happy for them both if either of them get an olympic gold!

Then I am sorry for LD and your brain.

Anyway what you mentioned is very true. Both of them are rare gems which is very hard to come by. Hope this LOG will bring us the very best of both. I hope so.

Agree. Retiring with the highest accolade is the best way to leave.

It's worth less than Olympic gold for both LD and LCW.

??? Not the other way round? Who is "he", are you sure you're talking about the same person?

You don't become Super Dan based on luck, it's great skills, lots of natural talent and hard work, thereby creating his own luck, if you like.

LCW fans will be happy with WR#1 only as long as he's #1, it seems. Sad to say.
