At first I thought it was a car show. But the caption says it is a "Dream Close Encounter with Super Dan" for his crazy fans where he performed Oppa Gangnam style.

So I guess we can all stop wondering whether Lin Dan will retire or not. If we take his word for it,at the meet-the-fans-session the other day,he has said it is his honour to play until Rio Olympics 2016.

I suppose,with no more peaks to conquer, he can only surpass himself and rewrite his own history - winning a third Olympic gold is one way of doing so.

When LD has won the Olympics more than once, the 2016 is more of a feat than an achievement hence no longer as ecstatic. However for LCW, the urge is still strong as he has not won it before.

Zhang Ning and won her second when she was 33. Can LD do that when he's 33?

LXR won her first olympic gold at 21 and is likely to win another two. LXR could set a new record if LD can not win his third olympic gold medal.

but WS world in china rotate so fast. LXR must be at her very best nearly all the time if she don't want any junior take her place like what have she done to trio Wangs. plus, some guy might propose her for marriage in any time we can't guess. but interesting to wait and see the result.

Speculations are rife,rumours flying - I can't say it's confirmed until we see him or her doing something explicit, such as what Lin Dan once did by offering XXF, after she had won a tournament, a bouquet of flowers at the podium and kissing her in public and posing for photographs.

i read about the rumour many months ago (i think possibly last year). i didn't pay much attention at the time.

but a few days ago at the HK Open, i saw WSX and Chen Long sitting together quietly away from others at a remote corner at the HK Coliseum. So i guess maybe the rumour is true.

oops, i forgot. this is a Lin Dan thread!!!
