It's a long shot but does anybody know when the dates for the county restricteds next year. i.e. which weekend?

Ynexfan..Thanks. perhaps you can guess how I know the medical system in UK very well (yes, I know it sounds rather far fetched for a person located in the Far East to give medical advice on the UK system)
Now it looks like a good chance of me visiting UK again and even possibly entering the restricteds. Keeping my fingers crossed. I shall be visiting Oxford, anybody good clubs around there?
Won't you need to have been a member of a club (in the previous year) affiliated to Oxfordshire County to be eligible to play in the restricted?
I'm not entirely sure. There may be other eligibility criteria. e.g. You have represented that county at any time in the past. You are a registered coach in that county
Aww, you were right. Just glanced at the entry form. One has to be a member of an affiliated club to be able to enter. Anyway, I can't enter. The singles is played on the Friday 30th Sept and I'm flying in on the 1st October. I had hoped to arrive early morning at Heathrow and then go straight to the venue to play singles. Looks like it would not be worth the trouble. Guess I should do rounds of the clubs instead then.
Or you could just get the name of a local club and play, I'm sure there must be someone here who would play in a club in that county and wouldn't mind giving you the name so you can enter
Nah, too well known. Been far too notorious in the past to get away with that trick And i would only be able to play doubles which wouldn't be fair for the partner. Imagine having to play with some zombie with jetlag Hey, perhaps I could pretend to be an England player trying to fly around the world depsite a strike by British Airways
