Could be a weird question for guys. But do you shave your legs? I see some of my friends shaving their legs for badminton.

Did it before when I did a lot of road cycling..... but now that I'm indoors.... never again. I can't see what advantage it would have for badminton. Your friends were probably just curious how it would feel so they can relate to their female counterparts. :D

it's a disadvantage to shave (normal) legs for badminton.

Seems a bit extreme to me. Do they shave their heads as well? Wear body suits? Wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Wa Ha Ha Ha! NO. I don't shave my legs for badminton.

I shaved my legs for road cycling because this sport often involve crashes which lead to "road rashes." It is easier to clean up and to patch the wounds. The wounds take several days to heal so re-bandage is necessary. It will make the job less painful if the hairs were not there to interfere with the changing. Since I seldom do road cycling now, I can also tell you that one of the benefits of shaving legs for cycling is to be able to show off the muscles to the girls (one good reason to do it).

May be those guys do cross-training. This may explain why their legs are shaved.

    Q. Do you shave your legs

    A. Hell NO!

It might be that your palls get their legs massaged and it is easier to do it with hairless legs, or it might be a phase they are going through :p

a friend of mine who played badminton but also was a cyclist shave his legs regularly because it was less painful whenever he had to bandage. he often got knicks and scratches from the bike, and the occasional road rash, and he found that by shaving, he wouldn't forget and subject himself to ripping out leg hair when he removed bandages. YOUCH!

The more often one shaves, the thicker the new (leg)hairs will become.

To the thread. HELL NO. I don't shave my legs.

In response to redkingjoe yes hair grows faster and thicker after one cuts it. Facial hair included. That's why you don't see me without my moustache :p
