U c, the other day during badminton training, I was, in my friends opinions @ least, being rather vindictive. Cos I was smashing the shuttle @ everybody I played against. I nearly gave the new coach a haircut. After tt round with the coach, i went down to get a drink, and my friend had to ask whether i was showing my dislike for the coach. Then when I played against the same friend, the poor girl got the same treatment and worse.
has anything like tt happened to u b4??

I do that naturally. I'm the type of player who likes to play offensively. I attack all the shots aggressively. So by smashing hard at my opponent makes it an ideal way to quickly end the rally. Infact i do that on purpose to avoid hitting it out at the sides.

My intension is to hit it hard at my opponent to make it hard to return not to injure them. ;)

I have a friend that purposely sticks people with the shuttle. He can't stop doing it. He doesn't care if you're a guy or a girl. He plays to win. So if he has to stick you to get to win, that's what he'll me. Me, on the other hand, but play. I don't necessarily stick people, but I'm more strategy that brute force.

Hmm, I've never played a game (including training) with vindictive/anger/upset/what-have-you emotion. Actually I like to play against such a person. :)

However, I think that the technique that you mentioned (hitting people with the shuttle during play) seems to be a "good" idea - psyching out your opponent, giving you that extra oomph, etc. The key then is it possible to control that emotion during a meet? 8)

I didn't know you did it on purpose Byro !!
    You are really bad !

So next time you hit me with the shuttle I would know that you are doing it on purpose hahaha... :)

And I guess you always follow that with an apology .... ;-)

Should have kicked his ass then. That's why you have a backup racket to hit him with. For example, The Blacken 8100. I have no use for the racket if I break it, and it's stainless steel. VERY strong.
