    FYI, there's no Athlon AMD which is clocked at 2.8 Ghz. Yours is probably a 2800+. And anyways my overclocking adventures have taken me to well beyond 3.5 GHZ. And the speakers are damn nice [​IMG]

    60 gig 7200 rpm Maxtor Harddrive

    i bet i have the slowest computer in terms of processor speed. not even one gigahertz!!!

    Nope, since my laptop went ga-ga I'm back yo my trusty old PII 400. It works fine for surfing until I can find a new laptop :eek:

    any BF'er here running an Athlon 64 (socket 754) or P4 J series (socket 775) ?
    The P4- 630 (3 GHz) has 2mb L2 cache, not too expensive either.

    We have 2 P4-630 test machines running Linux at work. They are super fast. Very good buy.

    I am using the Athlon64 2800 at my desktop :)

    My laptop is the Dothan CPU, which has 2mb cache as well ;)
