For HYGIENE reason, I change my grip, every month ... by then, even my white Karakal becomes grey ... I opt for white/light (yellow.orange) colour, so I can monitor.

Compared to everyone else I know I eat through grips. I get through about one-two karakal super P.U. grips a month playing about 8 hours a week. Even the top player at my club makes his last about 3 months. Various coaches have said I grip the rackets too tight, too loose or incorrectly. But when I show them my grip they can't see anything immediately wrong.
Reading through this thread has given me some assurance that I am not abnormal though :P Maybe I have sandpaper skin!Last edited by Sevex; 10-28-2012 at 02:47 PM. Reason: Forgot type of grip

The problem I have with RKEP overgrips is that they seems to stick more the longer I use them, so rackets won't fly out of my hand but I will change them because they are too tacky for my taste. Another example is the Wilson profile overgrip. Playing 2 times a week for around 2 hours each time, these would take 2-3 weeks before not feeling too tacky in my hand. So they were pretty durable, lasting at least 2 months.
Nowadays, I usually change overgrip after a month or so.

Using towel grip, and I change after every 4 sessions, or the moment the towel has 'flattened'
