    LAHORE, Nov 23: Pakistan has announced a 16-member men and eight-member women team for the Pakistan Asia Circuit Badminton tournament to be held at Islamabad from Nov 26 to 30.

    Six countries including India, Nepal, Iran, Indonesia and Japan are taking part in the event.

    MEN'S TEAM: Top seed Wajid Ali, Ahsan Qamar, Zeeshan Omar, Mohammad Waqas, Ashraf Masih, Amir Islam, Syed Shabbar Hussain, Mohamad Atiq, Zafar Tasneem, Atif, Rizwan Azam, Hashir Bashir, Harrison, Faisal Afzal, Mohammad Ijaz, Mohammad Waseem Ismail.

    WOMEN'S TEAM: Ayesha Akram, Asma Butt, Uzma Butt, Saima Manzoor, Sadia Arshad, Sara Khan, Sara Mahmood, Phalwasha. Meanwhile, the other participant countries have confirmed the names of their players to PBF.

    THE NAMES OF OTHER TEAMS:

    INDIA (MEN): Sachin Ratti, Utsav Mishra, Thomas Kurain, JBS Vidyadhar, A Pridvi, Abhium Shayam Gupta, Arjun Reddy, Makose Bristour, Jaisaow Xavier, Charanjeet Singh.

    Yep, this is the first ever international tournement that is being held and guess what? I am with the LINE JUDGES!!!! :cool: :cool:

    the only result i got about this event is that the MS champion was Jeffer Rosobin. the 1996 asian champion.

    but i can confirm on the ms results because he came to my local club this year and he keeps in contact with us personally. :)

    he's one tough dude i tell you even at his age! :eek:

    No, apparently the results have not been added on IBF's site. :(

    no update from ibf on results.....

    i cant confirm this but i hear the losing finalist was Marleve Manaiky.

    Yep I was judging the service line in the final (quite a nice line to judge! as afterwards u can literally watch the whole rally!)Marleve gave up in the second set as he had some problem with his thigh muscle, i think.
