I was browsing the Yonex Australia site, coz its the only 1 I knw that's in english , when I looked at the specs for the Armortec 800s. It says there that the 4U comes only in G4. But I saw a lot of 4U5 here in the Philippines. Are these fakes?
different countries have different grip sizes to different rackets Canada: G3 is available TW: G5 is available USA: G4 is available
At the following web site listing the spec for AT800, there are specs for 4U5 and ã€3U4・5 (ie 4UG5 and 3UG4, G5) http://www.yonex.co.jp/badminton/products/racket/at800.html At the Thailand Yonex site, there are specs for 4UG4 and 3UG3,4,5 http://www.yonex-th.com/detail_bmt_pd.php?id_bmtproduct=045 so you can't judge the genuity of a racket from one factor.
It's the circumference (or size) of the grip. For Yonex, the larger the "G" number, the smaller the grip size. G5 is smaller then G4, etc. Do a search. -dave
Oh, ok. I thought the specified grip sizes for each weight was standard across all countries. I am a bit paranoid about buying one bcoz of all the fakes running around Thanks for the replies and I hereby declare this thread closed! *snip*
