China pulled out of Ina Open

    @#$@!!! It's been a long while seeing real competition in Ina Open and I thought, finally... but alas.... China cited political situation in Jakarta as their reason for pulling out.

    Wonder if tt's the real reason or another boycott.

    Don't think so. I believe there will more withdrawals considering the current political situation in Jakarta. Many Chinese Indonesians living in Jakarta have flown to other countries in the last two days (some of relatives too).

    The People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) has concluded to have the President's accountability speech on Monday and should it be rejected, the President could be impeached as early as Tuesday. Hell, nobody can tell what will happen then.

    Should the situation worsen, maybe, the Ina Open would be cancelled or postponed. Hopefully not..
