hello people.....this is just some idea that just popped into my head after reading up on people deciding which strings to use.....but i was just wondering:rolleyes: .....have any of you guys ever tried mixing two strings together?.....Like.....what i mean is that like you use one type of sting for the mains and another for the crosses.....and eventually find the perfect combination of stings for any type of play:D .....like.....maybe the durability of BG65 with the repulsion power of BG80. Anyways.....just a thought.....just wondering if anyone would like to try it out and give us feedback on how it works out..... any guesses people?:p

I think it's been done before. Someone on the forum mentioned the concept. Welcome to the forum and Happy Belated Birthday, btw:D!

    its called hybrid stringing.
its been a very common practice in tennis.
not as popular in badminton, but some people still try it for kicks.
or just to not waste excess string.

    its real subjective.
some feel it was an averaged feel between the two strings.
some say it improved or was a detriment to string durability.
    some said it felt horrible.

you just have to try it for yourself, like all string.
