i have been reading in this forum... but i have no clue what the information on the sticker on my yonex racket means... 2u g4 16~20lbs 7~9 kg can anyone enlighten me please?
2u= the weight of racket which is for ur case 90-94g g4=size of grip which is small for urs 16-20Lb 7-9kgs = recomended tension...
thanks for ur quick reply... do u or anyone have any idea any other ranges or meaning for other code? eg. 3U (i've read about it somewhere) what's its weight range or if G4 means small grip, any other code and its corresponding meaning? are these information(s) international standards or just a practice by yonex?
i actually have 3 rackets (but yet to string 1) -cab8000 -cab880 tour sp -cab20 tour sp (unstrung) all bought from discounts/promotions (hey i'm not $$$) =>i'm not pro enough to feel the effects of using 2 diff rackets in playing... (is it really unhealthy?) unless u're talking abt isometric head and round head... i also have iso25 and iso50... ends up hitting the shuttlecock with the frame 1/2 the time... (not used to iso head ) =>i thought that "tour sp" supposed to mean better, but my friends, father and i all thought that cab8000 is lighter and stronger... (unless there r other criterions in deciding a good racket)... i'm also trying to find out more abt stringing, which of course, will b in another post...
Please read the FAQ http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46 I think these posts can help u solve most of ur questions.
