Asking for which yonex string will give the loudest 'banging' sound after hitting, mean that you can hear the 'POR' sound.I need many comments on this thread.

Between Bg-85 and Bg-66, they are very close.

    I still prefer Bg-85 tough

I string only BG85, BG68Ti and the New and Old BG66. The New BG66 gives you by far the loudest sound.

Soon Yonex will have to add another axis to their "strings chart" to rate loudness and the ability to show off your skills/power! :D

i think it also depends on what pitch you want the sound too. A lot of people say the BG66's are the loudest, unfortunately, i've never played with them, but I'll have to try now that i've heard about it. :p

The more rounded, POW sort of sound from my experience: BG85.

The more high pitched...slightly sharper and less POW, but equally as loud: BG68Ti's

The BG65's (both Ti and Regular) I've found have produced a pretty good sound. Nothing as dramatic as the BG85's. I suppose I like it that way.

Would anyone here agree that sound oftentimes corresponds to "power" in a way. For example, the BG85's I've found to be VERY "powerful" or repulsive and accurate strings and as such, they also seem to be very very distinctive in their sound when you get that perfect shot out of a smash. The BG68Ti's are quite resonant too, but it's alsmost as though when I hear them, I can also here the vibration and the distinct metalic sound (and this seems also to correspond to the light touch and the vibration the BG68Ti's have, especially for dropping).

    Any comments on that?

I also though of BG 66 as my next string (after BG65). However, most not if all the threads with BG 66 involved commented on its poor durability. At 21 tension, what is the expected life span?

The new BG66 materials differ slightly from the old BG66. It is also slightly heavier and it comes in a new blue packet with claims of better repulsion. It makes no claim that it is BG66S, which I think is thicker at 0.68mm.

As soon as BG66S comes out I'm so gonna try them out. Either that or I wanna try BG88ti. BG88ti is pretty much the most expensive string in yonex if you exclude the cyber natural...

Have anyone try BG88ti? How loud is it?....

From my strings tests, I am not sure if BG66-S sounds louder, but I think BG66 sounds better.
