    Hi,

i just cut my BG85@26x28, because it is too tight and i couldn't control it..

i now replace it with my old BG80@23lb, way better,

please take a look at ur racket, how many knots are there? are there 4 in total?

i heard that each of the string hole is for one string only? i do see there are 2 strings in one hole(i will provide pictures a little later)

and in each hole, there is a plastic/rubber., what happen if the stringer loose it?

    Should be 4.

Not exactly, only applied to certain holes at the 2 and 10 o'clock points, not all of them.

If the stringer loose it, he/she will put new ones in it.

If using 2 pieces method, then there should be 4 knots.

For AT800, not all the gromments are "single string", there are gromments (especially bottom half, I think) still using "shared" method. I believe some Prince and Babolat rackets are the pure "1 string per gromment" models.

    1 cross start
    1 cross tie off
2 main tie off (1 on each side)

I think he means three tie off's because the diagram refers to the start as a start and not a tie off.

So one start and three tie off's => 4 knots :D

    rubber cushin?

I thought the cushion is only used in the 2 very bottom holes. Often time it has no effect because the leather/rubber gets cut by the string and lost it's function. Unless you replace with a new cushion every other time, I fell it has no effect at all.

    Ok, I see.

However, don't u need to tie off the "start" before really get going? :p Also, if using 2 pieices (4 knots) method, and start the cross in the middle, there will be 4 "real" tie offs. :p
