Watch out for Candra's serve. It's rather fast too.

And have anyone noticed that Luluk always serve to the sides ? I really wonder why because I don't see other players serving in this way everytime when they serve low.

I think that Alven and Luluk, despite their height, they could still jump sky high and also have fast reactions at the net. And their defence is superb.

They are excellent players. No doubt about it, but they are not dominant like Ricky/Rexy or Candra/Sigit do. They are more of the Flandi/Eng Hian type. Strong, but not dominant.

I don't really know how to put it, but they do not have the "thing" that shakes the opponent. I remember Sang Yang/Zheng Bo once said that they felt the pressure of a champion when they met Candra/Sigit. This is what Luluk/Alven lacking. To be honest, I have not seen other pairs since Candra/Sigit and Candra/Tony own that "charisma".

But again, Luluk/Alven is without doubt a very good pair.

I hope that they can take their ranking in the world as when they be number two in the world at 2004 years. Don't fell failure but do the best

Actually, they were #1 in the world at the beginning of last year. That was their ranking when they played the Korean Open in January 2005. They were also defending champions at that event but I watched them get humiliated by the young Korean pairing, Lee and Jung. That kind of inconsistency has plagued them over the years but yes, they are definitely skilled.
