leftover grips?

    I've tried searching but I don't think anything has shown up, but has anybody tried using the leftovers of their grip after they have finished wrapping the actual racquet. Then getting a old racquet and wrap it using all their leftover bits? If you do this and get different grips, won't you in theory be able to customise your grip? But i guess this doesn't work too well as you will move your hand up and down the grip...

    those usually sit around at the bottom of my bag, until someone or i need it and we've run out.
    just wrap it like usual, and overlap a little where the ends meet.

    no big deal.

    There's a guy at my club that uses them as undergrips after removing the original leather grip. The result is very comfortable.
