ive tried searching this forum but i cant find people saying which string is the best.can anyone tell me because 1 of my racekt string has broke.:crying:

How u define "best"? In durability? playability? price? or some sort of combo of various factors? Maybe try the "review" section, and see if any hints there match ur need?
there no best string..Some prefer rough while some prefer thin to thick,it all personal perference just test out those string(might be costy) and which feel is the best
ya lor ya lor... best if you try out every single make and model, then tell us which one got the best 'plonk' sound, and which one more durable and responsive.. haha... i'm using bg66 all this while though... but i'm too stupid to really feel the intimate difference between the different models...
BG66 in most Asian countries is the best. because BG 66 has the best feel. and alot of ppl will agree with this. tho BG66 does not last very long (durability) it doesnt really matter to most as the labor charge for stringing is very cheap (in general, in Asia) as compared to the prices and foreign exchange rate effect in the more developed nations. also, using bg66 there is less issue about tension loss... because after abuse it will snap unlike more durable strings will endure and 'elongate' etc. so in Malaysia... BG66 is number 1.
Hey jug, is that statistic from the demand from your shop? Other than that I'd agree with you though I wonder how you guys can snap your strings fast..... I mean the tension is string is really high, you can hit the bed of the strings with your palm and it feels like you're hitting the table or something... yet I haven't broken any strings..... mmmm

YES LITERALLY MAN. Btw that string has been changed!!! I was practicing in the yard when my mp23's head scratched against the ground taking a small bit of the racquet paint off while killing the string . On that one it has been in use for around 3 months?? Usually about 8 hours of playing a week? While on the cab30 Though I haven't been using it much since of exams and tight playing schedules since I got it in mid august I changed it only just before I moved to Perth. But all in all it was still 30lbs strung. I'm sure. I saw the scales of the machine my stringer used. And he said 72 and 70 already was around 30lbs or something. But that one had about 20 hours in for sure..... so I'm not sure? Should I be hitting harder??? Btw it was 1 piece 2 knots stringing.. if that helps...
Hi Jug, Have you come across with BG65 at 30x28 before? Peter LSD recommended this very highly and we did try BG65 at 28x26, which gives very good feel and high durability. We've just sent one of the racket(AT800OF) to be strung at 30x28 with BG65. Any ideas, BG65 at high tension comparing with BG66? Thanks red
unless you are quite a heavy-hitter i'd recommend BG-85. great feel, good bounce and power. downside is cost and relatively bad durability compared to say BG-65
BG65 is very durable. But it does not make any sense to use any string for more than 2 months even if the strung racquet is infrequently used. There is a lot of difference between a newly strung string and a 2 month old one. If it is playability you prize highest, then choose those strings that perform best within two months, no more. If BG65 is still a contender, using this criteria, then that is your personal choice. Some prefer BG85. Others prefer BG66 or BG68Ti. That is what the manufacturer thought also. Why do you think Yonex came out with so much choice?
Dear Mr. Tan, Thank you so much for your professional opinion. We all know that you are really pro in gears(as well as on a lot of other stuff, too ). You abilities in discerning, combined with theoretical basis and practical experiences, is so valuable to us. I always trust your professional recommendation. May I rephrase the question a little bit here : what are your 3 most preferred strings with tensions in order of choice? Those will be good reference points to me for trying out. Thank you. red
I keep inventories of mostly New BG66, some but much less of BG85 and BG68Ti. I like BG66 and BG85 more. But I have now switched from BG85 and BG68Ti to the New BG66. I keep the same playability of BG85 but with improved repulsion power using the New BG66, which I now string to 24/26lbs. Another reason is costs-the New BG66 is cheaper than BG85 or BG68Ti.
eh ok sorri for definding my need properly.best durability is not a concern here.i dont smash really that hard too.but since so many people agree on bg66 than i may decide to try that because the shop i am going to string will start increasing their prices the new year by $1 so better to change all rackets also first
