    A motivational workshop
    hosted by the Orange County Badminton Club in Orange
    Saturday January 22, 2005

    Focus: Young badminton players learn the physical and mental keys to reach their greatest
    potential as badminton players and as well-rounded individuals.

    Featured speaker: Tony Gunawan
    2000 Olympic Gold Medalist, Men’s Doubles
    2004 U.S. Open Champion, Men’s Doubles
    Mr. Gunawan will reveal secrets to his success as an international competitor.

    Motivational speaker: Paul Wong
    Assistant Coach, Tustin Pioneer Badminton Club
    Coach Wong will focus on the mental aspect of the game.

    Parents who attend with their student athletes will learn strategies for communicating with coaches as well as how to positively support their young badminton players.

    Adults $8 per person Youth $5per person

    Fees cover workshop materials, continental breakfast, beverage and souvenir. A drawing will be held to win a Macy’s Gift Card. Remaining funds will be donated to the United States Badminton Development Foundation (USBDF), which is dedicated to promoting the sport of badminton among U.S. youths.
