It's great to see so many high school player to be into badminton. I was in HAAL as well when I was in high school, that was long long time ago. By the way, for all your high school kids out there, there is a training camp coached by Olympic Gold Medalist Tony Gunawan taking place this weekend, I hope you guys will able to take advantage of it. I'm sure it's going to help your season a lot no matter you're single or doubles player. Lefty

I recently went to a frosh/soph tournament at Irvington and i think they were using the same birdies. With my experience with them it felt like they were going farther than the yonex mavis 350 medium birdies our league uses. Many of my shots were going out and and it felt a lot different using the hl ncs yellow birdies than the yonex mavis ones. Has anyone else have a similar experience using the two different birdies?
oh god.. i was at irvington for a tourny too... i hate that hL bird!!! its soo weak.. and it flies soo far... I know its better to adapt.. but i asked if i could switch to mavis 350 in between games...
anyone going to the newark memorial high tournament on the 23rd? Do they use yellow ncs birdies? If they do would it be rude to ask to switch to mavis 350?
