Ericksen/ Scholjdager really made a great break thru - winning in succession over all the 3 top XD pairs - Zhang-Gao, Sogaard-Olsen and Haryanto-Minarti. Accordingly, they should begin to dominate this discipline. The only qualifier is that this tournament was in the 7x5 system and Ericksen has an tremendous overhead game due to his height compared with all the other 3 men among the top pairs and in a system where immediate aggression gets immediate results, they won without serious toruble.
