I have bought and received this Yonex bag from Ebay. It looks quite different what what you'd expect from a Yonex bag, so I'm wondering if any of you have seen this before? Do you suspect it's fake? I bought it because it looks nice and I didn't care if it's fake. After inspecting the bag, it looks descently made. Though it does have an ugly pink interior!

    1) There is no AS60 shutlte
    2) There is no AT500 at 2U weight.
    3) Because of all that, the bag is prolly a fake. But heyy it's great looking :)

Lol. It's a fake. All of that ebayer's items are fake... you should ask the people in the market place forum in the "ebay auction thread" before you buy any items off ebay.

I think that bag is just plain ugly. No offense.

The bag is fake, and it seems like it is using the same materials from regular racket covers.

to be honest, I dont see any way that a bag will make you play better.

therefore, the important things for me when it comes to bags are design and looks.

aside from that ugly pink interior, I'd say you got a great racket there. Yonex should just buy their OEM bags from the fakers =)

I did suspect it to be fake before I bought, but all I cared for a bag is that it looks nice, so I bought it without further investigation.

Ugly??? I LOVE it! I would have paid more for this fake bag than an authentic Yonex bag! whoever is designing these fake Yonex should go work for real Yonex!!

well, not really... the material seems not bad... it is different than all the previous yonex bags i've own, but doesn't seem worse. guess the only way to tell how good this bag is, is to test out it's durability. hmm... maybe I'll give another update regarding this bag in 2 years?? :p

For me its ok to have fake yonex apparel and bags, as long as they are decently made. Yonex is known for badminton racquets so only my AT 800 OF is geniune, the rest maybe fake.

I have 2 yonex shirts made in china, I really can't tell whether they are fake or not. I can only identify fake racquets through the printed serial number, but sadly, ther are no engraved serial numbers on yonex apparels and accesories that differentite them from fakes.

It's very easy to tell fakes or not once you have genuine products in your hands.

I don't think it really matters very much if a badminton bag is fake or not as long as it is well made and it serves its purpose of carrying and protecting the racquets and other stuffs you might want to carry. Of course we need to consider the price. Fakes can't be priced similar to an original. If the price of a quality fake bag is way way cheaper than the original then I will definitely buy it. :)

that's what my mom said about the fake racquets she got me. But having the real ones is ALOT better than having the fake one.

I dought a fake Yonex bag would have teh same protection a real one would hold. But I agree on the pricing part. Farke should never cost teh same as real.

That's exactly what they want you to think so that they can make money off of you.

In the other hand, we don't know what kind of materials they used for manufacturing those fake bags. In the worst cases, they might use some "black hearts" materials, such as the fabrics from dead people slept-ons or dirty fabrics. (Yeah, they can always try to make it "look" clean by bleaching)
