can somebody help me jump-smash?
ok....gonna try and make this as detailed as i can =P. when i jump-smash,
1) i jump(not sure how high)
2) spread my arms out
3) do a really big swing and end up putting my left arm at the back, racket arm on the side and a rotated waist just like normal shots.
is there nefing i'm doing wrong? (its hard for 14 year olds with 1 year of training to jump smash
)

If you can do a really good smash with good upper body/arm technique without jumping, then adding the jump should be a lot easier.

you are correct. getting the timing correct is very important in jumpsmash. in jumpsmashing, you are adding one more factor, and that's the rise of your body. that means that you need to time your move earlier (or at least different) than regular smashes. it takes time to get used to the new timing and you are on the right path, keep trying it and soon you will get the timing correct.

a jumpsmash looks nice with proper technique, a jumpsmash mixed with the wrong technique often looks very silly.
