Hi There... Just a question. Can you guys just tell me what is the difference bettwen amatuer players and proffesional players?
3 main factors Three main factors: 1- Amateur Players are less consistent than professionals, they would miss their shots quite often. 2- Professionals win money at playing or coaching badminton. 3- Amateurs join small local badminton clubs such as regional or provincial. And as for Pros, they're national or international and hence ranked as well.
The defining characteristic difference is this: professionals earn money playing badminton; amateurs don't. The other obvious difference is that professionals are better than amateurs in almost all cases (usually much, much better). Really, I would have thought this was pretty obvious

Advanced player: Someone that is really good Professional: Plays for money. It's their job. You can have someone that is an advance player, but not a professional because it's not his/her occupation. You can also have a professional who is not an advanced player. It's just that he/she won't be making any money.
