It is hard to compare unless you own a Yonex Nanospeed 7000.

How much did it cost compared to the Apacs Armorpower 880/850?

    What's the flex/balance point like?

    Apacs Nanopower 7000

Its true that we may not give a good comparison when we have not even used the Yonex version before. :)

I have been using Yang Yang rackets lately, namely Max Power 99 (Yonex MP 99 cloned) and Sensation 008 and once in a while Apacs Powerconcept 996.

I would say the racket has a gd control in defence (taking smash & particulary cross court drop shots). As for smashing, i have only tried for one session, the smashing power is somewhere between my Yang Yang Max Power 99 and Apacs PC 996. And surprisingly, the racket is able to control directions with force well.

Average out, with the inexpensive price tag (got it from my supplier) , plus it is a fresh new experience of control, i think its not a bad cloned afterall.

Jus my opinions on the above racket.

You know guys... in terms of USD that like 40 bucks for a racket/t-shirt and bag....that can't even get half of a yonex Mp99

it seems like Yonex is losing the battle against clonex manufacturers. even before the NS7000 is out in non-Japanese markets, we are already seeing clonex rackets popping up.

i will be surprised if Yonex isn't aware of it and why are they doing nothing about it?

Higher profit margins for other/local brands??

Adding on to ur point :), seems that most of the malaysia's and some of the s'pore rackets retailers are not that forthcoming in promoting Yonex products..

Can see that they are really pushing Apacs, Proace and spome other local brands... higher profit margins for them to sell these brands than selling yonex products???

well... can it be because as rumoured, apacs kind of 'belongs' to yonex as a subsidary production line?

and then Apacs come out with a NS7000 look-a-like to hurt Yonex's sale of its brand new, just released Nanospeed series?

what you said does not make sense to me.

Had another try out yesterday nite at clementi, played 4 games of doubles..

    1. Personally, i think its more of a offensive racket..despite the "Head Light Balance...end to end court is quite effortless..can get a hard shot at a fast reaction time...better than my Yang Yang Mp 99 clone..

    2. Manage to sting a few hard smashes...replusion level quite high...enjoy receiving smashes at the same time yesterday..can push fast to back court..new experience

    3. Net play average...need to get used to the racket for both defense (drops n fast net play) and offensive use...

    4. Have not tried playing single with it, but has perform reasonably well in doubles.

Its only my 2nd sessions...will update more on its strengths/weaknessess .

Not bad for a "pirated" racket..but can't expect to be as good as the "original" one..:D

    ** I string with BG 65 at 24 lbs..

    Cheers..
