    the nanospeed series are horribly expensive though, i'm in taiwan and the ns7000 is out and it costs around 7000nt here, which is ridiculously high, sticking with carlton racquets. what happened to carlton anyways, their site has been down for over a year now.

    NT$7000 sounds extreme. I learned that some companies quoted it at NT$5500 and believed the these are both JP version. The TW version is found with a price tag of NT$4120 here:

    http://www.twsport.com.tw/ProductDes...o=200502200001

    However, I think that the price should be even lower. It should be even cheaper than AT-800 OF/DE.

    Never believe the MSRP. Usually, the actual retail price should be at least 20-40% cheaper than what ever it claims to be.

    If that's really NT$7000 (around US$230), than it's even more expensive than US.

    That's either an imported JP racket or someone is trying to rip off people.

    NS7000 = NT7000 ?

    Just changing the S to a T sounds quite reasonable to a Canadian like me

    There is a store selling JP version of the NS7000 in Taiwan for NT7270, certainly way too expensive.

    MSRP for the NS7000 is NT5500, and normally, you can take 30% off the MSRP at stores everywhere as it is offered as a standard discount.

    Default I Already have an ns7000

    The nano speed are brilliant, i have the ns7000 and it is amazing alot better than the last racket i had which was the armotec 800 attacking, i dont know what the ns8000 would be like but it must be very good because it is the racket up from the ns7000. I live in England and saw them both at the all england tournament in Birmigham, Emms and Robertson were excellent!

    Emms and Robertson??

    How could that be related to NS7000/8000?

    Are you saying Emms stopped using Carlton?

    Also, why would you want to compare AT800OF (I guess the Offensive version is what you mean when you say "attacking"?!?!) to NS7000? They are Very different (NS7000 being extremely head-light and AT800OF being extremeley head-heavy).?

    NS8000 = box shaped
    NS7000 =widebody!

    Check this out! http://www.yonex.ch/html/Rackets.51.0.html

    What is the difference between boxed shape and widebody?

    Possible Implications:

    easier to swing NS 7000 faster than NS 8000?

    NS 8000 more durable than NS 7000?

    NS 7000 has larger sweetspot?

    NS 8000 more powerful when hitting sweetspot?
