which would you say is the worst Car Manufactorer on the road at the moment.
    I would say Proton, Lada

it was Kia, Hyundai and Daewoo but they all have improved alot over the last 3-4 years.

why pick on manufacturers of cheap cars?

i'm not picking on proton because they are cheap i mean look at the new proton GEN 2 it got 1/5. Need i say more and that is off several car mags. Renault, Peugeot are far better.

It's nothing new, ttkom. Even back here in M'sia there's been much of a headache for owners of the Gen.2. My colleague who bought one had had his engine stalled (lost of power/functionality) three times in the past 3 months.

I guess it'll really take time before they really improve here.

Thus most people would still buy the Wira, Waja or Iswara instead. Not sure what their names are in the UK though.

*chuckles*, you guys are too much :)

I think i've said quite enough on cars already :p and won't be bashing people heads on the spot, if i can help it. :p

Every brands of auto has its lemons. Some worst ones improves while some good ones slides so it is hard to say which car maker is worst(or the best). You have to give time and price range. The questioner should refer to the sticky thread of how to ask question. It's no different from asking which brand of racket is the best or the worst.

I mean the Proton GEN 2 is not a bad looking car it's just a shame it don't perform as well as it looks. I can think of a Worse car. Dill and Neil Nicholls will know which one i mean lol The City Rover is abysamal. It was orignainally an indian car. Rover must really be on a tight budjet.

I dont think there is a worst car manufacturer. Maybe there is a bad car that comes out in each manufacturers. Proton cars are generally ok.. Satri Gti was a good car.. now coming out with its Limited Edition R3 version. We cant say that generally Proton is a bad manufacturer. Kia , Hyundai , Honda , Renault and other european manufacturers does have their bad and good cars as well.
