When you write a post, look into the "additional option" menus below your post as you are writing it. (not after posting) One is "Thread subscription", choose "do not subscribe" and you will not recive emails.

After you have posted, but have chosen the subcription, you should be able to cancel the threads you have subscribed to by following the links from "User CP" in the top left corner of your main screen.

    Hi James

On a related subject for threads to which I have subscribed, I often receive a notification or reminder that someone else has replied to that thread and that I can read his/her post by clicking on the stated BC webpage.

In the past, when I clicked on the reference, it would lead me straight to the new postings, but not now. What could have gone wrong? (I have posted this same question before and kwun could have rectified the problem but maybe I still do not know how to make the adjustments.)

    Apprecate your or kwun's help.

    Thanks wubuseah for helping.

This is the notification message that I will receive in my email:

    Hello Loh,

Jumpalot has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - NEWS : IBF plans to make badminton attractive - in the General Forum forum of Badminton Central Discussion Forums.

    This thread is located at:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20334&goto=newpost

Now, when I click on the thread location reference as indicated above. it brings me to the BC.com vBulletin Message homepage instead of to the lastest posting (by jumpalot) of the thread that I have subscribed to.

Any solution? What has been your experience or do you get a similar notification at all? :)

Loh, do you normally visit BC forums via:

    www.badmintoncentral.com

    or

    www.badmintonforum.com

    ?

    Hi Kwun,

I tried clicking on to both your references above and it brings me to the same webpage.

However, I normally go straight to the BC.com "General Forum" section, as I have included this website as my "Favorites Link" sites instead of the BC.com homepage.

The last time, I had no problem. Wonder whether you've changed any of your software which might have affected the old order? I don't know whether you've received any similar inquiries from other posters? Or maybe my case is out of the ordinary? :D

    Hi Loh,
Tried both links and both took me to same badminton central page
Don't know but think the problem might be the link - because the address is now www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/.
