No, I mean I have not seen Chen Hong jump smashes in real life b4. (Meaning being at the place to see him smash!)
Looks like have to wait for the next tournament to come to town...

Forgot to mention, if u see the Straits Times today, u can see me and Dewa in the background photo!! (Although it's a little blur) It's the photo whereby the shuttle hits Lin Dan's face!

I guess my dream of watching Chen Hong Vs. Taufiq in the final will never happen.

But then chen is 21 and taufiq is still 20, they have lots of opportunity to meet again.

Chen is still not used to the new scoring system...

Chen Hong jump smashes is not that powerful, he just smashes at the right time, and the angle at which he executes it is very tight down the baseline. You need to have extraordinary reflexes to get it. I watch him live twice, once in All England against Roslin and then in Spain. Heryanto Arbi's and Soon Kit's(when he was younger) were very powerful, and they did not really care where they put it, the shuttle just blasts through any defences given the right execution and timing. Another thing I notice about Chen Hong is that when he jumps to smash, his body and legs are very straight and upright.
Ismail Saman was once touted as a rising star, but these past few years have not been good to him. He was with Nusa Mahsuri before coming to BAM a few years ago, and the transition and different training styles might have affected him. When he arrived in BAM, he was relegated to only backup squad, but he slowly worked his way back to the national squad. He is one of the fem players who don't give any excuses when the chips are down, he just goes away and tries harder, that is what I like about him. All the best to him in Singpore.

And I was having this midnight mass for CH in his tight hotpants encasing his muscular tighs. I thought that would be worht something. Pooh - muscular tighs and all that - if its not going to be used in badminton, let me have them. I know what to do with them. Jellibeans.
