Does anybody know where I can buy grommets from in the UK or a website?? I know they come in different sizes and shapes but I'm looking for a AT800 top grommet... the top bit of the grommet has snapped off somehow lol

A2 or C2, (2nd grommet from the top)

    any clues?

Normally, racket shops should provide you for free (if you just want one or so, small amount) since Yonex provide grommets to shops free.

I am not sure what type of grommets you are talking about. However, any regular grommet (in right length and width) should do it. You don't have to use the fancy AT grommets; regular rounded ones should do it as well.

    Vienly,

I'd try and blagg them as Bluejeff suggests but otherwise, since you're in London, you may want to check here for grommets:

I know there are other shops too (when I can remember the website!) but I believe they ask for bulk orders.

Seriously, Yonex provides free grommets to its dealers. Badminton shops don't really need to order any grommets at all because they come with shop orders already. Just go to any shop and ask for grommets should be fine :)

    I got mine from www.rapidrepair.biz
They're not on the website, you'll have to phone them.

I got RAB Fittex replacement grommets, in bags of 200 (4.00 GBP+VAT I think)
    sizes
    2A 2.0 x 13.7 mm
    2C 2.4 x 11.0 mm
    B3 2.6 x 10.7 mm

I mostly use the B3 and then the 2C
I can't remember if I've used the 2A. I've opened the bag, but I'm not going to count how many are left.

    grommets also available from
    http://www.badmintonalley.com/others_stringing-accessories.php
    1.00 USD for 10 !!

    You'll be wanting a de-grommeting tool next I expect.
I have a tool like the
PP-700 Grommet Replacement Tool (Grommet Remover)
    at www.eagnas.com/tools.html

but I got mine from the UK (Gefen Sports) so paid a lot more
    http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/town/street/xnf37/tools.html

Gefen also has the Grommet Grinder, which is cheaper, but I have no experience of. I think Taneepak does though.
