Someone offers to sell me an MP100. I've just reviewed bluejeff's page at: http://free.hostdepartment.com/b/bluejeff/ to get info on how to spot fake Yones racket.
Just wonder how does an MP100 cover look like? Does anyone has any more tips (weight & grip size, etc.) specifically for MP100? I couldn't find info on MP100 on Yonex's website.
    Thanks.

Well, is he selling it to you in person or online fron ebay?

If its in person, first feel the serial number with your finger nails to see if its engraved. Basically, just examine all the features that blujeff has examined. That's what I did for my MP99 which is similar to the MP100.

    MP100 usually comes in weight,
    3U(85-89g) / G4,5
    2U(90-94g) / G3,4,5

If you're getting it online, ask us first so we could help you out.

I am quite impressed that there are acutally people viewing my site :)

The MP100's case is the same as the one (the case for MP77) I posted on the site. It's the regular MP case. However, different country may have different cases, but if it's the regular MP case, that's the most popular case.

    Weight: 2U and 3U
    Grip: G3, G4, G5 for the 2U option; G4, G5 for the 3U option.

Thanks for all the help. I went to take a look at the racket in person and could tell it was a fake right away as it's a low quality one: loose plastic wrap on grip, non-engraved serial #, low quality grommets, etc. The manufacturing date was also covered with a sticker.
