Qn for thomas and everyone:do we need to wear wristband??

    just a question for all of you thomas too.great fan of yours ever since i saw you in the match you lost to howard bach and tony gunawan.i think its the dutch.ok on to the question is it adviseble to wear any wristband or armband during matches.what exactly makes you all wear those band during matches.ive seen adults im playing with dressed themselves till they look like a gladiator going to war:D

    Some reasons of wearing wrist and arm bands.

    1) Prevent sweat from the arm to flow down to the hand/handle.
    2) Wipe sweat.

    I am not sure what kinds of wristbands they are wearing in the game(s).

    However, some wristbands are kind of like wrist supports. It protects your wrist from bending/stretching too much.

    really ive seen many of them too especially doubles players like thomas and most notably my favourite player martin lunggard...

    This is exactly the reason why I wear it on my racket hand. ;)
