Hey. I just broke my Ti10 the other day and was thinking about which racket I should purchase, either the MP 100, 99, or AT 700 OF or 800 OF. What racket do you think would be most like the Ti10. I am a pretty good badminton player, I play a lot of singles... Thanks.

If you play singles primarily, I'd say the at700 or mp100. If you're really strong, any of them will be good.

I broke my ti-10 then bought a at-800 de, then an mp-90, then a at-800of, then a at-700 and finally, just went back and bought two ti-10s.
but if you want to change, mp-90 or 100.

Upgrading from the Ti-10? It's already considered one of the heaviest artileries out there of the Yonex racquet line.

If the pros persitently use it facing constant marketing presures for them to switch to newer models, it must be a testament of its quality.

Not sure about you, the_man_of_gcn, but my 1 1/2 year old Ti-10 has suffered quite some moderate abuse from racquet clashes, all happening when strung at 23 - 24 lbs and it's still strong. *touches wood table, playing tonight*. I've even read about a member of BC/BF whose son uses it to hit things like a stick, sweeping things off like hitting a hockey puck and his had only scratches and paint imperfections to show.

As far as I know the legend-in-the-making Kim Dong Moon still uses it. He'd be a perfect model/spokesman for the AT800 but he stayed with the Ti-10. I think that must mean something.

Normally pros would be told to test and use newer models to drive sells, else it probably would be a very marginal difference in their performance.

The only trouble with the Ti-10 is the greater than usual head heaviness (explaining the supreme power it packs), thus, used at long intervals can cause one's arm to get tired faster. I am talking about the most common model of course, the 2U.

It doesn't break as much as the MP-100 does.

I am switching from Ti10 2U to AT800DE 3U. I prefer the AT800DE. Incredible power, speed and defense.

in term of price an used ti10 is still cheaper.
    however, u should give 800OF and 800DE a try.
