I am a new member from the silk city of India. Any one can tell me what kind of flooring is suitable for badmiton. I know many wealthy clubs have wooden flooring, but in our country not all r rich so 80% of the players play in cement flooring. can anybody suggest any other flooring that is not costly ???? Thanking you all. Awaiting your reply. Have a nice Day..

RE: Flooring Hi, In Spore, i think there are 5 types of flooring. Wooden, rubber, tiles, cement and a one special one which i not sure what is it. it has a waxy surface flooring but it material like a mat. i like rubber flooring better as it give u a soft and bouncing feeling. Gd to move around. Next is the mat with the waxy surface, That gives a gd braking when rushing or dashing of shuttles without falling down. ceng
u r right buddy it is very diffcult to get good courts in India. But try to play on a wooden court. Cement courts are taxing on ur knees and other joints.
Cement would be the best for those who are low in budget. Even in malaysia we still have alot of courts which is done in cement. But for long term , i think wood flooring would be great. anyway welcome to bcbf.
Re yes, wooden floor would be a better choice but if the floor is not clean oftenly, we r more likely to fall......... As there r many function going on on courts which sometimes the pple would not clean throughly after the events. ceng
