here in malaysia, some shops are not even selling them yet. stocks have not came in. so i doubt it will be discontinued that early. heck, we can even buy brand new MP100, ISO TiSP here, and those are way older than the AT.

Well, even if AT700 is discontinued today, I am sure we can still find it easily at shops for another a year or two.

    Don't worry about it.;)

i live in kuala lumpur, and my office is within walking distance from the famous pertama complex. there are many sports shops there, but only a few stock the AT. i can see more shops that stock the MP100, Ti10 and ISO TiSP, stocks are still coming in, compared to the AT. maybe because we prefer older stuff? :p

but loads and loads and loads of carbonex.

I've not heard anything about it being discontinued.

What would such a new racket be replaced with?

Also it is used by a lot of pros.

i guess maybe because there are still lotta sp cab, ti10, iso around so distributor is pushing those to the retailers, or retailers wont lower price enough to clear out old stocks for new stocks.

however, the problem is that usually new Yonex rackets are quite more expensive than its previous one... If they are coming out with new rackets faster, they have that much less time to come up with new technology... Thus, we will be paying a greater amount for a racket that is not too different from its previous one...

Just to state the obvious, but................ has anyone asked Yonex or are these just some unsubstantiated rumours started by friends, people at clubs etc?

In other words why do you believe these rackets would be discontinued?
