    Exclamation Wats the best tension on mains ans cross???

    I'm having a new Armortec-800. But I hav to put strings on it. Wats the best tension??? I thought about: 25.3 lbs on the mains and 27.5 lbs on cross. Is that good???

    If you like it, it's good.

    Most players would find that too stiff. Choosing tensions is down to preference (like the racket too); but it's good to start low (say, 20 - 21 lbs) and build up.

    Don't just choose a high tension because you think it will make you play like a pro. It won't.

    I also doubt you can be so precise about tensions. I mean, 25.3 lbs? How are you going to tell the difference between 25 and 25.3? How is the stringer going to be so accurate?
