    Hi All,

I am new to badminton. I have a quick question about stiffness of rackets?
In many websites, it mentions about the racket stiffness - Like "Shaft stiffness:8.0-8.5"

My question is that which is more stiffer?

    Shaft stiffness:8.0-8.5 or Shaft stiffness:8.5-9.0

    Thanks

    JS

different brands have different ways of rating stiffness. Generally, higher numbers mean a stiffer racquet, although I think I remember a few brands that have it the other way around.

    Thanks!..

It certainly looks like that there is no standard as how stiffness is stated on the data sheet..

    Thanks again!
