String Life
I just restrung my MP100 with bg 85 strings at 23 lbs. I've heard that bg 85 only lasts about 3 weeks when this setup is used by a good hard hitting player. I do not know if I fall into this category so I don't know how long my strings will last. I usually play recreationaly with a bit of competition in school. I can and usually smash with a good pop. My playing isn't very intensive but i do play intensively occasionally, like when playing club administrators or singles. It took me about a year and a half to break bg65 on my mp100, keeping in mind i took a few moths getting used to the raquet. Will my setup only last me a few weeks or can i expect at least a few good months with it?

It depends on a LOT of factors, like environment, hitting style (flat/slice), playing frequency, racket/grommet condition, racket care ...
It's extremely hard to predict, dude. Let us know though

If it took you 1.5 years to break bg65, my advice is to go for bg85! It is a very nice string.
BG65 lasts me about 4-5 weeks, bg85 lasts exactly 2 weeks or shorter. I am now back to bg65, bg85 is just too expensive for me...
