I've basically reached the peak of power from what I can get from this racquet. The only muscle power racquet I've tried is the MP 24, and I feel like I generated much more power (and it was with factory strings) than from my 8200 light (which is restrung with bg-65). I was actually looking into the MP 30. It's $140 CDN at sweet spot, but before I get one I was wondering if any of you had any recommendations. I play doubles, and I don't lean towards offensive or defensive. I'm 5'9" 170 lbs.

    What's your price range?

Sweet Spot generally is much ovepriced. I also reside in Edmonton.

For high end racquets, I think the Royal Glenora Pro Shop is the cheapest in town.

For low end MP, Sport Chek sells Mp-22 for 80$, and they also have 27 and 24.

I prefer getting my racquets either from the states, or from people going to HK, China, etc.

I also managed to get a Carlton Airblade Titanium for $20. Sport Chek sells this for $140.

Yeah I was thinking of getting one of the MP 23 or 24's or whatever they had at sportchek. Sweetspot IS way overpriced, I agree. Where is this Royal Glenora?

And what do you think of the Yonex 75 MF light? I read somewhere that it has a muscle power frame.

Oh sorry my price range is somewhere below $150 (CDN). Do you know if royal glenora will be open tomorrow and what their prices are like? Maybe I'll stop by there. Just tried calling and they don't have their hours...

ever consider a change of strings?
strings make more of a difference than a racquet does, in my opinion...

What kind of strings? Like I said before, I had much more power with factory strings on a MP-24 than I did with my restrung bg-65 cab 8200 light.
