Hi, does anyone know if the NS7000 TW and SHB 99 are available in Taiwan (Taipei in particular). i note from the Yonex Taiwan website that only JP stocks are available: http://www.twsport.com.tw/ProductItemShow.asp?Start=Y&FKindNO=C20030423001F14&IsSKind=Yes&SKindNo=C20030423001S41 http://www.twsport.com.tw/ProductItemShow.asp?Start=Y&FKindNO=C20030423001F15&IsSKind=Yes&SKindNo=C20030423001S45
Thanks bluejeff. I suppose the NS7000TW would probably be priced the same as the AT800 (US$100?). I shall ask my friend to grab one for me when he is in Taipei next week.
No, dealers aren't that stupid to price down a new stuff. Since the supply is somewhat limited for now, the avg price I have heard is around $135USD as of this moment. PS: NTD:USD is about 30:1 now, so buying rackets in Taiwan is no longer cheaper.
If your friends went to Kaoshiung, try to call this store and check out the price. I and my frineds always got rackets (and shoes) there. Halim (or Halin) Sports Supply (哈林體育用å“社), Address: No. 176 Chi-hsien Road, Section 3, Kaoshiung City. (七賢三路176號) Phone: 07-5516130
hi, how are the prices like at this shop? can you quote a couple of examples? my dad's going to taiwan soon and i'm thinking of asking him to help me buy stuff... any one has any recommendation where i can get good prices? also, how are taiwan's prices compared to singapore's? thanks! (looking out for sotx and kason rackets especially... but not exclusively )
A friend of mine got Mp-100, AT800OF, and AT800DE there about four weeks ago. The price was around NT$3000-NT$3200. They can string the racket with BG-65 for ~NT$200. -SC
oops... sorry~ that's cheaper than singapore, if i'm not wrong!! oh man... i hope this place is in my dad's itinerary...
The Singapore Dollar has strengthened for the past few months. now US$135=S$220. Its still a good deal if you compare it to the cost of NS7000 SP in Singapore (Personally I have no doubts about TW coded YY rackets, quality should be the same as SP but do not wish to start a war here about country codes!)
Well, in your case, it would be worth it because there is no shipping involved. (your dad can buy it directly from the store) However, if there is international shipping involved, then it's just not worth it.
This store in Shilin, Taipei is selling the NS7000 TW for NT$4,125 (~US$137): http://mysale.tacomart.com/cart/index.php3?iD=23044&session=23044_1110425981_1046047813422fc17d1b841&doit=order&pid=73389&department=0|23733
A friend of mine is holidaying in Taipei at the moment and he sent me a text message complaining that he could not even find one yonex racket that come in G4 grip size. Are the Yonex TW rackets only available in G5 grip sizes?
is the SHB 99 in Taiwan out of stock at the moment? because the store in taichung told me that the SHB 99 wont ship till mid April across Taiwan
Last week I checked with a Taiwanese colleague of mine and was told that SHB99 TW has not been released yet.
