I like it better than the 2nd gen and largely due to the fact that I have played with it up until recently. The 1st gen was quite a while ago but I can say this:
    - stiffness, and power the 3rd gen is pretty close to the 1st gen
    - the 3rd gen is faster on defence
    - the 1st gen was head heavier

totally agree, i dont know what 2nd gen is great for even though i have one of each generation.. i find it kind of hard to control with the 2nd gen..

but i really like the feeling of the 1st gen! gives you the raw power and some control

True, my family of Ti-10s are separated though. I'm hoping Yonex will continue to produce the Ti-10 well into the forseeable future and maybe even some cosmetic changes as well.

    hey guys

ask your opinions. i'm CONSIDERING purchasing a Ti10. not confirmed yet, but still in the thinking process.

i'm lost between the two Ti10, the 2nd gen and the 3rd gen. Price difference between the two would be about RM100.

    what would you do?

you should go for 2nd Gen first, because it is getting rare and no more production

then you will go for 3rd Gen later, because it is still under production

both 2nd and 3rd are worth buying, using and collecting

I don't agree because unless you're looking to 'collect' rather than play with it. I see the 3rd gen as being a better racket overall and since its more affordable, that is a better choice.

    i guess you're both right.

the thing is, theres a part of me that wants to keep the 2nd gen for a few years and sell it at a massive price later lol

like how the 1st gen is retailing now!

but of course i still need to be realistic.

But if you plan to do that, then the racket should be kept in perfect condition. If not, then I don't really see the point. My 2 cents~

I'm getting my 3rd gen string at my usual string and tension as we speak. I'm hoping to get a good session with it this weekend. After I get a chance to play with it again, I'll write up a more detailed review.
