if you still interested to buy, why not just go to Hock Eng, AJ or Pertama?

I have seen a 1st Gen Ti10 in HK but going for HK$2500.

I have a mint condition 1st Gen Ti10 but didn't sell because I have people who offer to pay the same price as a new 3rd Gen Ti10. They probably think that is a fair price to pay for a old racquet.

Even though the 1st gen was a really good racket, I don't see myself paying the price as its the same as three 3rd gens.

Sure, you pay for what you think it is fair. In your case, you feel that all the 3 generation of Ti10 are the same, so you won't pay a premium.

But the buyers who specifically look for the 1st Gen Ti10, I feel they should be prepared to pay a premium for a racquet which is no longer in production. It is supply and demand and for someone to think that a fair value is the selling price of the 3rd Gen Ti10, well..........

If your racket is 2U please offer me, I'm willing to pay extra for the premium.

    Thanks and regards

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I didn't say they were the same. In fact. they're quite different and worth much more than both the first and second generation ti-10. And also, for a racket such as the ti-10 (1st gen), the price is pretty subjective in that there isn't a benchmark to measure how much its worth. However, I am just saying that in my opinion, its not worth buying such a racket. I am sure most if not all of us would jump all over the first gen if the price is still around the price of a 3rd gen.

I actually wonder (humbly speaking) if those who are currently die-hard trying to collect the Ti-10 1st gen have actually played with the racquet before. There is a very fine line which divides between those who "collect to play" compared to those who "collect to collect".

IMHO not many people can actually adjust to the stiffness and that "magnum recoil" of the Ti-10 1st gen.

i trust 100% of those willing to buy Ti10 1st gen at premium price are for collection purposes...

pls don't swap yours with a 3rd generation. seen at least 4 broken in minor (in one really really light) clashes. but they were strung in at high tension. last 'accident' was last week. wonder 2nd generation doing better.
