i dun recommend u to use ebay! Too many fakes.... Try abbies, Vrc pro shop, clr1 pro shop, or tad's sporting goods. buying from shops are more expensive than buying from ebay but at least its genuine. ~terence
Cheaper racquet With due respect, flipboi08 was asking for cheapest racuqet. You just recommended more expensive places to buy I agree that eBay may be dangerous, but if one is looking for the cheapest place, he/she must take the risk. The risk can be minimize if the person does some research.
how about in Singapore? and what is the price range? I'm going to ask my nephew who lived in Singapore and will come to my house next week, who knows nothing about badminton, to buy the racquet. But seems he got 0 knowledge, I need to direct him to the right shop to get the best price.
OK, now the cheapest SP version MP99 mainly in 3U is only max $199 in all Sportslink shops, comes with free bag (worth $18), its own unique yellow case, grip and free BG 65 string and stringing. My fren just bought one today at Artic Pacific in Sembawang Shopping Centre and with some discounts too. Its is better to call them to check stock.
I forgot to remind the shop, they use only 2 knots!!!! just called my fren to confirm as he knows little about stringing, becos I just saw Sportslink in Sun PLaza stringing stock Yonexes with 2 knots and reminded myself. OMG! So guys if you buy from them, do ask the stringer to do a recommended stringing job.
hmmm....the last time i went over to artric-pacific at Sembawang S.C .... the boss was quoting me S$195 for a MP-99. maybe can be lower after some discounts perhaps...coz dat time i was only asking n never really gonna buy yet so din ask for any discounts. But i tink dats one of the lowest price u can find in spore liao. thou artric is only using 2-knots method of stringing... i tink they did quite a good job la. no worries.... maybe u can ask yr nephew to give them a call n check out whether got stocks or not. 67536486
