This is so good.
Swiss open may not be the most prestigious tournament, but it gets my vote for the most technologically advanced by any standard.
I am going to pay the cost for watching over the weekend. This is fantastic.
Other organisers, please take note.!!!

Same here, that's what I'm getting this morning..Last night i actually stayed up and watch the 1st or so hour of the Qualifications(from before 3 am and watched the XD and MS only) and the connection was smooth as you can get. I got bored though as these are still the Qualifications..
.
Paying for the QF, SF, and Final days is not a bad idea, esp. to us fans here in the U.S. who lacks any connection to these tourneys.
On that note, hope next month's Japan Open won't be outdone. Heck, they're arguably one of the most technologically advanced country in the world and they can't even make something similar to this effort??...

I'm getting 331k/s, and a crisp image of a guy sweeping the floor.
Apart from him the arena is deserted.

The live streaming is very clear, but I get a lot of bufferings, playing for a few seconds and then froze.
Will the paid streaming be smooth? I do not wish to have freezes every few seconds.
My internet is 512kps.

They've already stopped streaming for the day..
and of course stopped playing(it's currently almost 2 AM in Swiss right now). If you want to catch it, it'll continue again later tonight/early morning(Canada time). Check the tournament playing time, I believe Thursday they'll start at 10 AM(Swiss Time).
Good luck-

How good is the reliability of the paid version?
Any one tested yet?
Well, I guess with the paid service, you won't get, rtm version
of 'server has reached stream limit'
