    Are you sure of this? Anyone can just go in? If that is the case then I am going. Do you have any details for the thai open? eg. stadium? draws?

    Yes, it is free admission, at least for last year when I went there during the Chinese New Year holidays. I took a tour and it was expensive as it was peak period during that time. Now with budget airlines, it should be cheap for airfares in Singapore but how can I get cheap hotels with simple facilities, not need for swimming pool, etc, perhaps a 3 star hotel.

    Since you are in the airline industry, Porngris, any good recommendations?

    I think it is within the National Stadium compound, just next to the famous shopping centre (forgot the name).
