interesting. are they refering to the comfort/feel, or the look?

in an effort to quickly break-in my new pair of shb-99, i have been wearing them all night in the house. frankly, i don't feel much difference between them and my shb89. i may find differently when i am on the court.

I didnt want to start another shb99 thread so I'll just cramp my comments here

The first pic is a lineup of yonex's 2005 shoes that are distributed in north america. I dont know if we'll get the silver shb99 over here or not.

I personally wear US size 8.5 shb89 for some strange reason

no.
the reason for me is that my left feet is
size 8.1 and my right feet is size 8.3. Since it doesnt come
those odd sizes, i went up to the next size just to make my right
feet happy.

Yonex Canada will be bringing in a one time shipment of the 99 low for end of July delivery. If you want a pair I suggest you put in a special order with your retailer now! The cut off date for the retailers to order in Canda is going be April 20 and there will be no repeat or fill ins available. The show will be $210 retail and will come with a special shoe bag.

the outside and inside of the shoes. some places are meshed. there are some plastic decorations on the outside, not sure how long those will stay there.

ventilation was definitely on Yonex's list this time. there are some holes at the top of the shoes to let out some smell... erm, i mean air...

finally, the insole. quite a fancy one. the side have some teeth like structure.

the under portion of the insole is actually lined with plastic (the darker portion). those among us who wear Superfeet insole will recognize them.

It's funny that the US only carries Low cut, but Canada is the opposite...
