Around the $220-$230 mark(unstrung) if u bargain hard enough... Some private sellers on this forum are selling for $200.
Is there a difference between "versions" ??? Or just another marketing tool for ignorant consumers to pay more for essentially an identical product?
all I can say based on what I've been told.... there is no difference in the material compound.... its the same racket... but....different codes...got different distribution area...got difference in cost of labour....therefore....found out that JP and SP version is much more expensive than the TH version.... thats all I know...
AT800 at Scotts Place off Orchard Im working in Singapore and happened to go into Scott's plaza today looking for rackets. The Armotec 800 DF and OF (Sp edition) are supposedly on offer there at $299 sing dol - and free yonex jacket and BG65 string. First place i looked at it - bet there are cheaper places in Singapore. What the prices like in Malaysia? they have the nano 8000 (or was is 7000) @ S$349 plus free 6 racket bag, string and some other free thing anyone got better prices?
in Malaysia.... apparently...retail price for AT800 is RM999..... but can get around RM700 in certain shop in Kuala Lumpur.... to me...that SG$299 is too expensive....coz I've seen thread before quoting new price from Bras Basah Complex for only SG$220-230.... NS7000 in Malaysia...retail price quoted by Sunrise Sports is RM799... and can get around RM550 in certain shop also.... that is why I'm looking fwd for any new update of AT800 in Singapore...as I expect it to be cheaper than Malaysia.... glad if somebody could help....
best i have found so far is S$280 for the Armotec 800 - unstrung. Didnt get time to go to Bras Basah. Most of the main retail chains all quoted S$299 with freebies bag n string etc....
S$240 in S'pore A relative in Singapore can get an AT800 Def TH at Queensway for S$245 including string and a new grip.
hmmm...maybe need to wait more...well... hoping that those NS model in the market will make people less concentrate on AT and the price of AT will drop... hehehe...is there such thing like that?
the price for the defensive version is 240, without strings, at Ranking, Bras Basah. but i can't remember the country code, it's either SP or HK.
as far as i know... Ranking mostly sell SP version.... hmmm...any update of the TH version from Gala Sport or Zenith?
hehehehe....of course not dude... I'm just making a survey of the price for TH version...as I've heard that its cheaper than SP or JP version....thats all.... I know that it takes some time for price to reduce... but as far as I'm concerned...my Cab 21SP never had a reduction in its price here....maintain the same price till now... [edit] my nephew just called me, she said that she just talked to someone at Zenith Sports in BBC, AT800DE TH sells at SGD220 without string and SGD230 with BG66 and grip....hmmmm....nice deal...this is what I'm expecting
AT800 Hong Kong I was in Hong Kong last weekend and I bought the AT800of for S$227 - unstrung but i got him to string it for free with BG65s, seems to have done a good job. Rose Sports - Fa Yuen street Hong Kong Richard
sportslink yesterday had a huge advertisement, with the yonex racqs taking up the top half... amortec 800of and de are now at S$249, so i guess other sole-proprietor shops might be reducing their prices too, with sportslink pricing as a benchmark. so right now, we can expect a general drop in prices elsewhere bah...
