just read in the official website of the swiss open that in 2006 the tournament is going to become a 4* thanks to WILSON-the famous racket manufacturer company. one can safely say that badminton is on the rise with prize money of all tournaments increasing exponentially every year.aldready this year will have have four 6* tournaments as compared to just 1 last year and it is good to see prize money for almost all tourneys incresing dramatically. one more important thing to note is that next year's swiss open sponsors will be WILSON which if u ask me is an even better sign.it is high time that other companies like wilson,gosen etc actually try and challenge the yonex monoploy.this will mean fierce compettion and with that it is obvious that tournament prize money will only increase each one trying to quote higher than the other.so if next year is going to be 4* thanks to wilson the year after that yonex [if interested] will try and increase the prize money to host it.
